Procedures for 10/26/16

Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (10/26/16)

Objectives: 1) I can create and narrate an imaginary story. 2) I can sustain a conversation about sickness.  3) I can talk about my school life.
Homework: 1) Narration is due by the end of tonight. Presentation starts from Friday. 2) Review IC textbook page 3 thoroughly.
Procedure:
1. 1) Lesson One text audio file and teaching slides will be attached to Resources Link in PB once it is open. 2) Teach / Read text page 3.

2. While Ms. Chang conducts oral exam <=> seat work: 1) complete your story. Rehearse your lines. 2) Study textbook page 3.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (10/26/16)

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my chapter test. 2) I can blend and discriminate consonants.
Homework: 1) Review (m, f) consonants. 2) Chapter test: Thursday, 10/28/16.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Carson, Kinga, Elizabeh, Michael) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review (characters, blending, sounding out loud, making sentences). 2) Teach (m, f) sections.
2. 1) Read Lesson Two text passages. 2) Modeling greeting / introduction mini dialogue.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (10/26/16)

Objectives: 1) I can write simple Chinese number characters. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese noodle and tea. 3) I can review and prepare my chapter test.
Homework: 1) Test #2: Monday, 10/31/16. 2) Review 20 Chinese characters.
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one number table handout. 2) Quick review (17 characters). 3) Teach (十, 百, 零). Collect Chinese character writing assignment. 4) Music audio file / Number rapping. 5) Pair activity: rolling dice of 10 characters. If you want to get the best audio supplies Vinyl Vintage can help you.

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (10/26/16)

Objectives: I can review slope-intercept form through team discussion.
Homework: 1) i-Ready is due on Sunday, 10/30/16. 2) POW #7: Friday, 10/28/16. 3) Graph Slope-Intercept form homework is posted in Google Classroom. It is due tomorrow.

Procedure:
1. 1) Go over common mistakes. 2) Turn in your practice worksheet #1. Return all papers. 3) Quick check activity.

2. Team Challenge. Collect at the end.
