Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (10/27/16)

Objectives: 1) I can create sentences. 2) I can talk about school life.
Homework: 1) Narration presentation starts from tomorrow. 2) Chinese character writing assignment. 3) Lesson Nine oral exam starts from tomorrow.
1. 1) Take one netbook. Lesson One text audio file, vocabulary list and teaching slides are in PB Resources link already.  Divide into groups. 2) Quick review. 3) Teach (研究, 搬, 帮). 3) Writing practice. 4) (1P) Lesson Nine oral exam modeling and critique.
2. Group activities: making sentences.


Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (10/27/16)

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my chapter test. 2) I can blend and discriminate consonants.
Homework: 1) Turn in your Lesson Two character worksheet tomorrow. 2) Quiz #5 (bpmf / dtnl): Wednesday, 11/2/16. 3) Lesson Two chapter test: Friday, 10/28/16.
1. 1) Take one netbook. 2) Quick review (blending, sounding out loud). 3) Teach (d, t) sections.
2. 1) Greetings / Self-Introduction mini dialogue modeling. 2) Kahoot review game. 3) Study session: Culture reading + textbook pages 10-11 + Quizlet + Viewing video clips.


Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (10/27/16)

Objectives: 1) I can understand Chinese counting principle. 2) I can count from zero to one hundred. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese food. 4) I can explore Tangram piece game.
Homework: Quiz #1 (Connecting the Dots): Wednesday, 11/2/16.
1. 1) Quick review (20 characters). 2) Go over counting principle. 3) Count from zero to one hundred. 4) Culture reading: Chinese food.
2. 1) Class activity: Tangram game.  2) Showcase an article about Chinese number system / counting principle.


Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (10/27/16)

Objectives: I can use two points to write an equation.
Homework: 1) POW#7 is due tomorrow. 2) Practice worksheet #2 is due at the beginning of the class tomorrow. 3) i-Ready is due on Sunday, 10/30/16. 4) MathXL is due on 11/2/16.
1. 1) Turn in your Graph Slope-Intercept Form H/W. Return all papers. (Grant, Jake, Renee, Lili, Kaitlyn, Mary / Bobby, Neela / Connor) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Go over confusing / challenging problems from yesterday.

2. 1) Watch 2 videos (Writing an equation from two points) / notes. Model 2 problems. 2) Seat work: Practice worksheet #2.
