Procedures for 10/7/16

Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (10/7/16)

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my chapter test. 2) I can sing children songs. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about China through viewing a movie.
Homework: 1) Movie unit comprehension questions is formative, not summative. Make sure you share with me through Google Docs and turn in a hard copy. 2) Bring in your ear buds for listening comprehension on Tuesday. There will be an audio recording for listening comprehension. 3) There will be no homework grades from 2nd quarter. 4) Study! 5) WB page 105.
Procedure:
1. 1) Ms. Chang has shared 9 writing practice problems with you. Make sure you receive the notice and Google Docs. Ms. Chang will share a copy of revised movie comprehension questions.
1. 2) Ms. Chang checks your WB page 102 and 104. Go over answer key.

1. 3) (2P) Read text page 114.  4) (1P) Skit presentation (Sara, Jenna, Sydney). 5) Song singing.

2. Movie time.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (10/7/16)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminating front nasal sounds. 2) I can complete my quiz.
Homework: 1) Review (in, un, ün) sections. 2) Know all 7 characters by Monday. 3) Complete your oral part today (use your lunch period).
Procedure:
1. 1) Finish all retakes by Thursday, 10/13/15. Advise Ms. Chang your intention and which assessment today, please. 2) Quick review (blending). 3) Teach (in, un, ün) sections.
2. 1) Go over textbook structure. 2) Video clip: Learning Pinyin.

3. While Ms. Chang conducts oral part <=> complete math puzzle / video clips (characters).

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (10/7/16)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about major cities in China and chopsticks. 3) I can have fun exploring picking up food with chopsticks.
Homework: Review 12 learned terms.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Evy / Joey / Anastasiya / Ian; Grant / Melissa) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review. 3) Teach (xie xie, bu xie, bu ke qi).
2. 1) Video clips: Beijing + Shanghai + Chopsticks. 2) Chopsticks time.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (10/7/16)

Objectives: I can determine whether a graph is proportional relationship.
Homework: 1) Turn in your practice worksheet #1 by the end of class period. 2) MathXL is due on Wednesday, 10/12/16. 3) i-Read is due on Sunday night. 4) Practice worksheet #2 is due at the end of class period on next Monday.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return all papers. Turn in your POW #5, please. Treat time (Jacob). 2) Go over Practice Worksheet #2.
2. Seat work: Complete practice worksheet #1.
