Procedures for 11/2/16

Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (11/2/16)

Objectives: 1) I can explain my Chinese name in an authentic way. 2) I can talk about my school life.  3) I can read text passages fluently. 4)
Homework: 1) Review middle part of text page 5. 2) Submit your way of explaining your Chinese name through Google Docs (10 points).
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one netbook.  Check out / go over our 2nd quarter performance tasks. 2) Go over text page 5 / 10. 3) Check out / model work using www.mdbg.net.  4) Seat work: work on explanation of your Chinese name.

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (11/2/16)

Objectives: I can enjoy Chinese traditional painting.
Homework: Quiz #5 (bpmf / dtnl): Thursday, 11/3/16.
Procedure:
1. 1) Make sure you get art supplies (newspaper, plate, cup with water, brush pen, xuan paper). 2) Listen to Mrs. Chang’s demonstration. Colors will be passed out shortly.
2. Clean up.

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (11/2/16)

Objectives: 1) I can connect numbers from zero to one hundred. 2) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 3) I can name colors in Chinese.
Homework: 1) Review learned color terms.
Procedure:
1. 1) Pass out colors flash cards. 2) Teach (bai se, hei se, hong se, huang se). 3) Teach (sheng ri, nian, yue, ri). 4) Write sentence #5.
2. Quiz #1.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (11/2/16)

Objectives: 1) I can review state standards quizzes. 2) I can graph based on slope-intercept equations.
Homework: 1) POW #8: Friday, 11/5/16. 2) i-Ready is due on Sunday, 11/6/16. 3) Picture transformation project is due on Friday, 11/4/16. 4) Practice worksheet #N is due in class tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return all papers. Turn in your MathXL work. 2) Clarify 4 problems from worksheet #3.
1. 3) Seat work: work on all work + worksheet #N.
