Procedures for 11/14/16

Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (11/14/16)

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer conversation questions. 2) I can recite a poem. 3) I can prepare for chapter test.
Homework: 1) IC Lesson One chapter test: Wednesday, 11/16/16. Oral exam: Thursday, 11/17/16. 2) Vocabulary retake (重考chóng kǎo ) + Ni Hao Two text passages: Friday, 11/18/16.
Procedure:
1. 1) Get a netbook, please. (Joanna + Shannon) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Go over study guide. 2) Finish pages 7 + 15 (是…的), 16-17 (除了…以外,…还/都). 3) While Ms. Chang listens to your recitation (1P: Michael, Natalia, Evy; 2P: Shaan, Luke, Logan, Shannon) <=> VC tasks + writing practice.

2. 1) Ni Hao Two Lessons Six / Seven. 2) Conversation questions practice.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (11/14/16)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate consonants. 3) I can ask and answer simple questions. 3) I can prepare for my chapter test.
Homework: 1) Complete 4 VC activities. 2) Lesson Four chapter test: Wednesday, 11/16/16. Oral exam: Thursday, 11/17/16. 3) Field trip permission is due tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return field trip permission slip. Audio file (zh ch sh r c s z) is in PB Resources link already. 2) Quick review (zh ch) sections. 3) Teach (sh r z) section. 4) Read text pages 28-31.
2. 1) Revisit Chinese date format. 2) Conversation question practice + Q/A.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (11/14/16)

Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom rules. 2) I can complete a student inventory.
Homework: Signature slip is due on Thursday, 11/17/16.
Procedure:
1. 1) Please sit on your assigned seat. Get team assignment. 2) Introduce classroom routines / supplies, etc.
2. 1) Pass out / go over Ms. Chang’s classroom rule. 2) Fill out student inventory.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (11/14/16)

Objectives: I can create and analyze scatter plot.
Homework: 1) i-Ready is due on Sunday, 11/20/16. 2) POW #10 is due on Friday, 11/18/16. 3) Unit #6 quiz: Thursday, 11/17/16.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return all papers. Check PB for accuracy, please. (Jimmy, T.J.) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Read Ms. Chang’s comments on your work carefully and learn from your mistakes. Make sure you visit MathBoard next to Mr. Auble’s classroom. 2) Go over confusing problems (POW#9: Q2 & Q4 + Jesse). 3) Turn in your worksheet #N + MathXL work
