Procedures for 1/24/17

Procedure for HS 2P Chinese IV Class (1/24/17)

Objectives: 1) I can prepare to present my skit. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 3) I can order food and drinks.
功课: 1) Tongue twister: by Wednesday, 1/25/17. 2) Complete Skit #3 presentation tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Get a netbook. 2) (1P) Turn in your scheduling worksheet by Friday. Lesson Three Study Guide was shared with you over the weekend.
2. (1P) 1) Go over Lesson Three Study Guide + conversation questions practice. 2) Teach text page 75. 3) Warm up for presentation.

3. (2P) 1) Teach text page 75.  2) Skit #3 presentation. 3) Writing practice.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (1/24/17)

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 2) I can prepare for my chapter test.
Homework: 1) Oral exam: Wednesday + Thursday. 2) Review speed character recognition list. 3) Lesson Six Chapter test: Monday, 1/30/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Carson) completes sounding out sentences oral exam, please. 1. 2) (Casey, Emma, Aidan, Casey, Leah, Reyna, Emma, Kinga) talk to Ms. Chang, please.
1. 3) Get a group of 5 students and divide your work into (2 cooking, 2 cleaning, setting up / putting things away). Turn in your list to Ms. Chang by tomorrow.
2. 1) Read text passages pages 43-46. 2) Writing practice.
2. Seat work: 1) Captains (Marina, Tina, Jerry, Jakub, Vickie + Joe, Michael + Tiffany) lead conversation questions. 2) Q/A.

 

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Class (1/24/17)

Objectives: 1) I can gain cultural knowledge about major cities in China and how Chinese characters evolved through viewing video clips. 2) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms. 3) I can write simple Chinese characters.
Homework: 1) Review 20 learned terms + 4 learned characters. 2) Test #1: Monday, 1/30/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Jessica, Haylee) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review. 3) Teach (xie xie, bu xie, bu ke qi, tong xue men hao).

2. 1) Video clips: character animation / Beijing / Shanghai. 2) Teach characters (口, 火).

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (1/24/17)

Objectives: 1) I can present my project. 2) I can prepare for my unit #11 quiz.
Homework: 1) i-Ready cycle: 1/23/17-1/29/17. 2) MathXL #11 (rigid transformations and congruence) is today. MathXL #12 (Dilations and Similarity, 13 questions) is due on Tuesday, 1/31/17. 3) POW#14 is due on 1/27/17. 4) Worksheet #2 is due at the end of the class today.
Procedure:
1. 1) Model #1 in worksheet #2. 2) Presentation (Hudson / Anthony/ Jacob; Kate / Neela / Sofia).
2. Seat work: MathXL + POW #14 + worksheet #2 +i-Ready.
