Procedure for HS 1P/ 2P Chinese IV Class (2/14/17)

Objectives: 1) I can interpret video accurately. 2) I can read text passages fluently and accurately. 3) I can present my skit.
功课: 1) Ni Hao III text passages reading: Friday, 2/17/17. 2) Lesson Three vocabulary retake: Wednesday, 2/15/17.

Procedure:
1. 1) Get a netbook (1P: Jenna, Aaron, Ian, Sydney, Natalia; Maddy, Evy; 2P: Paul, Shaan, Erica, Grant) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Review characters. Housekeeping for tomorrow! 2) Writing practice. 3) Video comprehension questions (scramble questions and answers).
2. 1) Read Ni Hao III Lessons Six & Seven. 2) Skit presentation.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (2/14/17)

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my chapter test. 2) I can ask and answer questions about pets.
Homework: Lesson Seven chapter test: Friday, 2/17/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Get a netook. (Treyven, Aidan, Jerry, Joe, Nick, Carson, Julianna, Karli, Corey, Emma) talk to Ms. Chang. Lesson Seven Study Guide has been shared with you. 2) Go over conversation questions handout. Q/A. 3) Writing practice.
2. Pair activities: 1) Rehearse skit. 2) Practice oral exam questions.

 

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Class (2/14/17)

Objectives: 1) I can understand requirements for my art project. 2) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 3) I can name colors in Chinese.
Homework: 1) Quiz #1 (Connecting the Dots): tomorrow. 2) Quiz #2 (sibling terms + colors): Friday, 2/17/17??
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one copy of art project handout. 2) Quick review (4 colors). 3) Teach (xi huan). 3) Pass out animals handout. Write sentence #7 / say sentences #1-#7. 4) Teach (lv se, lan se, zi se, zong se).
2. Go over art project handout.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (2/14/17)

Objectives: I can work with a partner to solve problems with exponents.
Homework: 1) i-Ready cycle: 2/13/17-2/19/17. 2) POW#17 / MathXL #14 are due Friday, 2/17/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return Unit #13 quiz papers. (T.J., Jacob) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Treat time (Tyler, Grant, Leo, Hudson, Jake, Neela, Kate,Alyssa, Bobby, Jimmy). Make a flash card with Properties of Exponents for quiz, please. 2) Go over Unit #14 Exponent Introduction handout. 3) Watch rap song video.
2. Pair work: Exponent Matching activity. Turn in when done.
