Procedure for HS 1P/ 2P Chinese IV Class (2/27/17)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about shopping. 2) (1P) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese oracle inscription. 3) I can create a narration independently or with a partner.
功课: 1) Narration is due on Wednesday, 3/1/1. 2) Lesson Four vocabulary quiz: Friday, 3/3/17. 3) Lesson Four chapter test: Monday, 3/6/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Get a netbook. Quick review. 2) Writing practice. 3) Read and Teach text pages 109-111. 4) Video clip: Yin Xu (甲骨文).
2. Seat work: Narration.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (2/27/17)

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 2) I can talk about my language skills and nationality.
Homework: 1) Know 16 characters by Wednesday. 2) Review conversation questions.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Julianna, Treyven, Aidan, Leah, Kevin) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review.
2. 1) Teach (德, 拿, 本, 点, 得). 2) Introduce sentence patterns.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Class (2/27/17)

Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom rules. 2) I can complete a student inventory.
Homework: Signature slip is due on Friday, 3/3/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Please sit on your assigned seat. Get team assignment. 2) Introduce classroom routines / supplies, etc.
2. 1) Pass out / go over Ms. Chang’s classroom rule. 2) Fill out student inventory.

Objectives: I can express number in scientific notation format.
