Procedure for HS 1P/ 2P Chinese IV Class (2/28/17)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about shopping. 2) I can create a narration independently or with a partner.
功课: 1) Narration is due tomorrow. 2) Lesson Four vocabulary quiz: Friday, 3/3/17. 3) Lesson Four chapter test: Monday, 3/6/17. Lesson Four oral exam: Tuesday, 3/7/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Quick review. 2) Teach text page 111 + simple conversation questions Q/A.
2. Seat work: Narration.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (2/28/17)

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 2) I can talk about my language skills and nationality. 3) I can sing songs and do chanting to reinforce my Chinese language learning.
Homework: 1) Know 16 characters by Wednesday. 2) Review conversation questions.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Julianna, Treyven, Aidan, Kevin, Leah) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review. 3) Read text pages 66-67.
2. 1) Conversation question practice. 2) Draft your sentences. 3) Song time. 4) Video clip: 马虎.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Class (2/28/17)

Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s grading policy. 2) I can complete a student inventory. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese geography and major cities in China.
Homework: 1) Signature slip is due on Friday, 3/3/17. 2) China reading packet is due at the beginning of class period on Thursday, 3/2/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one set of China reading packet. 2) Go over Ms. Chang’s grading policy.
2. 1) Fill out student inventory. Collect. 2) Go over China reading packet.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (2/28/17)

Objectives: I can express number in scientific notation format.
Homework: 1) i-Ready cycle: 2/27/17-3/5/17. 2) Unit #15 practices #2 and N are due today. 3)
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. (Lily, Kaitlyn, Maddie, Tyler) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Go over confusing questions. 3) Model sample questions from practice #2.
2. Seat work: i-Ready + MathXL #15 + Unit #15 Practice #1 + POW #18 + Unit #15 Practice #2.
