Procedure for HS 1P/ 2P Chinese IV Class (3/7/17)

Objectives: I can showcase my mastery of Lesson Four shopping unit.
功课: 1) 三月八日星期三第四课笔试 (造句) + (1P) 口试. 2) Lesson Five character definitions.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers.  Turn in your Lesson Four character worksheet. Pass out Lesson Five character worksheet. 2) Lesson Four chapter test (听力和阅读).

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (3/7/17)

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 2) I can talk about my language skills and nationality.
Homework: Oral exam starts from tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Cannot sign up E/I tomorrow (NHS Freshmentoring). Captains check completion of worksheet. (Emma, Malina) check your slide for feedback, please. (Elizabeth, Tiffany, Carson, Julianna) talk to Ms. Chang, please. About Michael’s project….2) Quick review. 3) Go over worksheet. 4) Writing practice.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Class (3/7/17)

Objectives: 1) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese calligraphy and how Chinese characters evolve through the years.. 2) I can say simply Chinese greeting terms and classroom expressions. 3) I can write simple Chinese characters.
Homework: Review 18 learned terms + 4 characters.
Procedure:
1. 1) Quick review. 2) Teach (qi li, jing li, zuo xia, qing zuo). 3)Teach characters (口, 火).
2. 1) Video clips: Chinese calligraphy + Character animation. 2) Showcase artifacts.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (3/7/17)

Objectives: I can showcase my mastery of exponent properties and scientific notation through i-Ready assessment. 2) I can solve linear equation.
Homework: 1) i-Ready cycle: 3/6/17-3/12/17. 2) POW #19 is due on Friday, 3/10/17. 3) Unit #16 quiz: Tuesday, 3/14/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. (Mary, Jimmy) talks to Ms. Chang, please. 2) (Jesse, Alyssa, Maddie, Jacob, Shawn, Jimmy, Anthony, Connor) have mistake in your practice worksheet.
2. Log in i-Ready to complete Mastery assessment.
