Procedures for 3/13/17

Procedure for HS 1P/ 2P Chinese IV Class (3/13/17)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about courses I sign up. 2) I can gain knowledge about Chinese culture and societal issues through viewing a movie.
功课: 1) 三月十五日星期三以前要知道今天学的新生字。2) 三月二十一日星期二晚上要交电影的功课.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. Movie questions are finalized and posted. Lesson Five study guide has been posted and shared with you. 2) (1P: Grace, Rianna, Hanna; 2P: Caroline) talk to Ms. Chang, please. .
2. 1) Movie time. 2) (1P) Teach (选, 门, 世, 界).

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (3/13/17)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about sports. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese traditions / customs through viewing a movie.
Homework: 1) Know learned characters by Wednesday, 3/15/17. 2) Movie comprehension questions assignment is due on Monday, 3/20/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Malina, Karli, Marina) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Movie time.
2. Teach (喜, 欢, 球, 篮).

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Class (3/13/17)

Objectives: 1) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese abacus, Chinese schools and Chinese noodles. 2) I can showcase my mastery of greetings unit. 3) I can say and write Chinese number characters.
Homework: Test #2: Tuesday, 3/21/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Tyler) talks to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review. 3) Test #1.
2. 1) Teach (一, 二, 三). 2) Video clips: Chinese abacus + Chinese noodles. 3) Culture reading: Chinese schools. 4) Showcase artifacts (abacus). 5) Pass out colored papers for origami tomorrow.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (3/13/17)

Objectives: 1) I can complete a 5-level linear equation project. 2) I can prepare for my linear equations assessment.
Homework: 1) i-Ready cycle: 3/13/17-3/19/17. 2) Unit #16 assessment: Wednesday, 3/15/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. (Connor, Jimmy, Grant, Jacob; Neela; Shawn) talk to Ms. Chang, please. (Jake, Ian, Jimmy, Maddie, Jacob, Bobby) return your piles of work, please. One paper without name???? 2) (Jesse, Mary) fix mistakes.
2. Seat work: 1) 5-level project + Unit #16 study guide.
