Procedure for HS 1P/20 Chinese IV Class (3/31/17)

Objectives: 1) I can gain cultural knowledge about China and Chinese slang through viewing a movie and video clips. 2) I can present a short skit dialogue independently or with a partner. 3) I can read text passages fluently.
Homework: 1) 四月三日考第五课生字 (上半部)。2) 四月七日星期五:第四季俚语 (lí yǔ) 小考. 3) 四月四日星期二第四课短剧演示。
Procedure:
1. 1) 拿一个电脑. 2) Quick review. 3) Skit presentation (Grace, Michael, Evy, Rianna, Joanna, Natalia, Jenna, Sydney; 2P: Grant, Shaan) . 4) YouTube videos: slang. 5) Read teach text page 141.
2. Movie time.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (3/31/17)

Objectives: 1) I can present a skit that I created independently or with a partner. 2) I can prepare for my written chapter test.
Homework: 1) Lesson Nine chapter test: Monday, 4/3/17. 2) Turn in your Lesson Nine character worksheet.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Reyna, Joe, Julianna, Nick, Carson) talk to Ms. Chang, please.  2)  Quick listening review. 3) Culture reading (basketball in China) w/exit slip + Lesson Ten character definitions. Go over answer key.
2. Teach (头, 头发,脸).

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Class (3/31/17)

Objectives: 1) I can name colors in Chinese. 2) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 3) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project through viewing sample projects.
Homework: Quiz #2 (11 colors + 4 sibling terms): Monday, 4/3/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Quick review. 2) Teach (hui se, cheng se, fen hong se). 3) Pass out / go over food handout. 4) Teach (chi). Write/Read sentences #9-#10.
2. View sample projects from your peer (Anthony, Foluso) and students of previous rotations.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (3/31/17)

Objectives: I can solve systems of linear equations algebraically.
Homework: 1) i-Ready cycle: 3/27/17-4/2/17. 2) POW #21 + team challenge are due today. 3) Unit #18 5-level project is due on Friday, 4/7/17. 4) Unit #18 quiz: Friday, 4/7/17. 5) POW #22 is due on Friday, 4/7/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. Treat time (Sofia, Jake, Hudson, Anthony, Jacob, Kate). (Shawn / Tommy, Bobby / Jimmy, Alyssa / Kaitlyn, Lily / Renee, Connor / Ian, Vanja / Neela) turn in your team challenge paper.

2. Seat work: Unit #18 5-level project + POW #22.
