Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (4/28/17)

Objectives: 1) I can create a short skit with a partner. 2) I can read text passages fluently. 3) I can ask and answer simple conversation. questions.
Homework: 1) #8 skit is due next Tuesday. Presentation starts from Wednesday. 2) Video comprehension questions (Going to Visit China) starts today.
1. 1) Turn in your Lesson Five character worksheet. Get a netbook. 2) Oral exam makeup (Grace, McKenna, Jenna, Ian, Carolyn, Joanna, Natalia, Josh / Shannon, Grant). 3) Read IC Lessons 1-4 text passages.
2. Seat work + study session: 1) Skit #8. 2) Video comprehension Questions: Going to Visit China. 3) Passage reading. 4) Any makeup / retake.


Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (4/28/17)

Objectives: 1) I can design and create a kite. 2) I can showcase my mastery of knowing Lesson Ten materials.
Homework: N/A (Wear something comfortable for next Monday’s martial arts lesson, please)
1. 1) Get a copy of Kite project rubric. (Karli, Reyna) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Turn in Lesson Ten character worksheet. Check Lesson Eleven definitions.
2. 1) Chapter test (Translation section). 2) Design your kite.

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (4/28/17)

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my chapter test. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese calligraphy. 3) I can write simple Chinese characters.
Homework: 1) Review 26 learned greeting terms. 2) Test #1: Monday, 5/1/17.
1. 1) Pretest. 2) Teach (日, 月).
2. 1) Video clip: Chinese calligraphy.


Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (4/28/17)

Objectives: I can polish my knowledge and skills to prepare for state proficiency test.
Homework: 1) i-Ready cycle: 4/24/17-4/30/17. 2) MathXL year-end Review Part I / II are due at 4 pm today.
