Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (5/1/17)

Objectives: 1) I can create a short skit with a partner. 2) I can read text passages fluently. 3) I can talk about my girlfriend / boyfriend.
Homework: 1) #8 skit is due tomorrow. Presentation is from Wednesday. 2) Video comprehension questions:
Procedure:
1. 1) (McKenna, Jenna, Ian, Carolyn, Joanna, Natalia, Josh, Sara / Shannon) take your Lesson Five chapter test.
2. (1P) Seat work + study session: 1) Skit #8. 2) Passage reading + Any makeup / retake + Video comprehension: Going to visit China. 3) (2P) Teach IC L2P1 Lesson Six text pages 181/183.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (5/1/17)

Objectives: I can explore and try Chinese martial arts.
Homework: N/A
Procedure:
1. 1) (Carson, Marina, Aidan, Reyna, Karli) talk to Ms. Chang, please. . 2) Welcome our guest teacher, Ms. Zhang. Martial arts lesson.
 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (5/1/17)

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of greetings unit. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese calligraphy. 3) I can write simple Chinese characters.
Homework: 1) Review learned 11 characters. 2) Test #2: Monday, 5/8/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Rebecca, Ifei, Maya) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Test. 2) Teach (一, 二, 三).
2. 1) Video clips: Chinese character animation (日, 人) / Chinese noodles. 2) Showcase Four Treasures of Study + Chinese publications.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (5/1/17)

Objectives: I can polish my knowledge and skills to prepare for state proficiency test.
Homework: 1) i-Ready cycle: 5/1/17-5/7/17. 2) Complete your i-Ready Mastery Check.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Jesse) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Report to room #104 Ms. Daltorio’s classroom for state test. 3 bags of mints have reserved for you. 2) Review work (i-Ready + worksheet to set up equations).
