Procedures for 5/16/17

Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (5/16/17)

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my chapter test and final exam. 2) I can talk about boyfriend and girlfriend.
Homework: 1) Lesson Six vocabulary quiz: tomorrow, 5/17/17. 2) Last day for all retakes / makeup work: Friday, 5/19/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Get a netbook. (2P: Shaan) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review. Vote for Lesson Six chapter test. 3) Go over usage of 的, 得and 地. Go over final written section exam question prompts.
2. 1) View chapter test + final exam oral prompts. 2) Seat work: draft your sentences + makeup work + conversation questions practice.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (5/16/17)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about food & cooking and chopsticks holding skills. 2) I can present a skit with a partner. 3) I can prepare for my final exam.
Homework: 1) Know 22 learned characters tomorrow, 5/17/17. 2) Review final oral exam questions.
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one netbook. (Karli, Leah, Marina, Reyna, Carson, Kevin, Joe, Julianna, Nick, Aidan, Treyven, Corey, Jakub + Elizabeth) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Ask for an Asian Festival pamphlet. Captains check completion of worksheet. 2) Quick review. 3) Go over worksheet.
2. 1) Skit presentation. 2) Go over final oral exam questions. 3) Seat work: Fix PPT slides.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (5/16/17)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can name colors in Chinese. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese food.
Homework: Quiz #2 (sibling terms + colors): Monday, 5/22/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return quiz #1. Pass out colors flash cards. Check two origami products. (Anna, Jana) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Teach (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).
2. 1) Go over Chinese date format. 2) Teach (sheng ri, nian, yue, ri). 3) Write sentence #5. Read sentences 1-#5. Collect. 3) Culture reading: Chinese food.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (5/16/17)

Objectives: I can create and present a scenario with a scatter plot data.
Homework: 1) i-Ready cycle: 5/15/17-5/21/17. 2) Solving Systems of Linear Equations worksheet is due at the end of the class period. 3) Matching activity is due by the end of the class period. Show your work.
Procedure:
1. 1) Turn in your worksheet from yesterday. 2) Pair activity: Solve systems of equations and show your work on paper. Match answers to systems of equations.
