Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (5/2/17)

Objectives: 1) I can create a short skit with a partner. 2) I can read text passages fluently. 3) I can talk about my girlfriend / boyfriend.
Homework: 1) #8 skit is due tonight. Presentation starts from tomorrow. 2) Video comprehension questions: Going to Visit China / Deciding on a Major.
Procedure:
1. 1) (1P) Teach IC L2P1 Lesson Six text pages 181/183.
2. Seat work + study session: 1) Skit #8. 2) Passage reading + Any makeup / retake + Video comprehension: Going to visit China / Deciding on a Major.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (5/2/17)

Objectives: 1) I know say and write simple Chinese number characters. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese abacus.
Homework: 1) Review learned 14 characters. 2) Test #2: Monday, 5/8/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Rebecca, Ifei, Maya) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Review (11 characters + 3 number pronunciations). 3) Teach (四, 五, 六).
2. 1) Video clip: Abacus. 2) Showcase abacus.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (5/2/17)

Objectives: I can polish my knowledge and skills to prepare for state proficiency test.
Homework: 1) i-Ready cycle: 5/1/17-5/7/17. 2) Complete your i-Ready Mastery Check. 3) Complete worksheet (setting up equations) by the end of today.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Jesse, Lily, Jacob) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Review work (i-Ready + worksheet to set up equations) + i-Ready for this week.
