Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (5/3/17)

Objectives: 1) I can create / present a skit independently or with a partner. 2) I can talk about personality traits.
Homework: 1) Video comprehension questions: Going to Visit China / Deciding on a Major. 2) Lesson Six vocabulary quiz: Monday, 5/15/17. Lesson Six chapter test: Monday, 5/22/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Natalia) talks to Ms. Chang, please. Return Lesson Five chapter test papers. Go over calendar for upcoming assessment. 2) Oral practice. 3) Warm up + Skit #8 presentation.
2. Seat work + study session: 1) Passage reading + Any makeup / retake + Video comprehension: Going to visit China / Deciding on a Major.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (5/3/17)

Objectives: 1) I can say and write simple Chinese number characters. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese tea.
Homework: 1) Review learned 17 characters. 2) Test #2: Monday, 5/8/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Rebecca, Maya) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Review (14 characters + 6 number pronunciations). 3) Teach (七, 八, 九).
2. 1) Video clip: tea. 2) Showcase tea sets / varieties of tea.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (5/3/17)

Objectives: 1) I can complete i-Ready weekly assignment / mastery check. 2) I can set up equations to solve problems.
Homework: 1) i-Ready cycle: 5/1/17-5/7/17. 2) Setting up Equations W/S is due this Friday.
Procedure:
1. 1) (list of students) work on your i-Ready for this week + equations W/S. Treat time (Renee). Return papers. 2) Review game!!
2. Review work (i-Ready for this week + worksheet to set up equations).
