Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (5/4/17)

Objectives: 1) I can create / present a skit independently or with a partner. 2) I can talk about personality traits.
Homework: Study text pages 181 / 183. Writing practice starts from tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Warm up + Skit #8 presentation. 2) Read pages 181 + 183. Teach page 183.
2. Seat work + study session: 1) Passage reading + Any makeup / retake + Video comprehension: Going to visit China / Deciding on a Major.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (5/4/17)

Objectives: 1) I can say and write simple Chinese number characters. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese silk and embroidery.
Homework: 1) Review learned 20 characters. 2) Test #2: Monday, 5/8/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return quiz papers. 2) Review (17 characters + 9 number pronunciations). 3) Teach (十, 百, 零). 4) Audio file / rapping.
2. Showcase silk cocoon / embroidery.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (5/4/17)

Objectives: 1) I can complete i-Ready weekly assignment. 2) I can set up equations to solve problems.
Homework: 1) i-Ready cycle: 5/1/17-5/7/17. 2) Setting up Equations W/S is due this Friday.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Tommy, Shawn, Jacob, Lily, Kate, Sofia, Leo) work on your i-Ready for this week + equations W/S. Treat time (TJ, Tyler, Grant, Alyssa / Leo, Ian, Connor). Return papers.
2. 1) Review work (i-Ready for this week + worksheet to set up equations). 2) Puzzle time + logical reasoning worksheet.
