HS 1P/3P Algebra I (8/23/17)

Objectives: I can solve problems with my team members.
Homework: 1) Textbook page 6: 1.1.1 Problems 1-4 ~ 1-8. Due tomorrow. No late work. 2) Bookmark homework help link for future reference.
Procedure:
1. 1) Possible fire drill tomorrow morning. Any signature slip? Turn in Student Inventory. Tutoring help (2B/4B/before school at HS, after school at MS/HS)? (3P: Carly, Tim) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Parking lot? Know your role for your group, please. 2) Know how to complete your homework correctly. Write your name on the paper, label your problem numbers clearly, please. Box or underline your answers. 3) Take one netbook and log in, please. 4) Introduce CPM Homework help link: https://homework.cpm.org/cpm-homework/homework/category/CC/textbook/CCA. MS 5P Chinese I (8/23/17)

Objectives: 1) I can gain geography knowledge about China and its major cities. 2) I can say my Chinese name
Homework: Complete China packet by the end of class period today. Will go over answer key tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Any signature slip? Turn in your Student Inventory. Get a copy of square paper. Log in your chromebook and open the electronic course syllabus. 2) Introduce another website for pinyin chart, and make sure to get a webhosting agency. Listen to / repeat the pronunciation of your name.
2. 1) Introduce 8 basic strokes. Practice basic strokes with Ms. Chang. 2) Pass out China reading packet. Individual/Pair work: read China packet and complete page #4 <=> Ms. Chang checks everyone’s pronunciation.
3. If you are done with China reading packet, click 3 links to your China name and follow stroke order to write your name.

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (8/23/17)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greetings terms. 2) I can gain geographic knowledge about China and its major cities.
Homework: Review 5 learned terms.
Procedure:
1. 1) Any signature slip? Take one set of China reading packet.
2. 1) Review (Ni Hao). 2) Teach (Lao Shi, Ni Shi, Wo Shi, Zai Jian). 3) Pair activity.
3. 1) Go over China reading packet. 2) Video clip: General Introduction to China.
