Procedures for 9/7/2017

HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (9/7/17)

Objectives: I can describe the domain and range of a relation by examining an equation or graph.
Homework: 1) Section 1.2.5 Page 36 (1-78 ~ 1-82). 2) Quiz #5 (describing the graph): tomorrow. 3) Chapter One Team Test: Monday, 9/11.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. Binder organization (Notes — Review + In Class Discussion / Homework / Quizzes + Tests). Share assessment data. Pass out a summary handout. Need a table of data, a graph and summary statement for 1-59 (arrows). Need to use slope to justify your answer to 1-60!! (3P: Tim, Jack) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Check H/W. Collect. 3) Practice for quiz #4 tomorrow.

2. 1.2.5 Pages 32-33 Problems #1-71 ~ #1-74 + Math Note on page 35 (it becomes homework if you do not get it done in class).

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (9/7/17)

Objectives: 1) I can say and recognize numbers between zero and one hundred. 2) I can blend and discriminate vowels and consonants..
Homework: 1) Quiz #4 (bpmf/dtnl): tomorrow. 2) Lesson One chapter test: Tuesday.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. (Sam, Zach, James, Neela, Faith) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quiz #4 pretest. 3) Dictation (telephone numbers + numbers conversion). 4) Game time (dice).
2. 1) Go over Lesson One pages 1-6. 2) Showcase publications.

 

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (9/7/17)

Objectives: 1) I can say / write simple Chinese numbers. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese abacus. 3) I can explore Chinese folk art of origami.
Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Review 15 learned characters.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return test papers. 2) Quick review (12 characters). 3) Teach characters (五, 六, 七). 4) Origami time.
2. 1)Video clips: Chinese abacus. Showcase Abacus.
