Procedures for 9/14/17

HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (9/14/17)

Objectives: I can identify connections between the growth of a pattern, its starting value, and its linear equation (I can see growth in linear representations).
Homework: Section 2.1.1 Pages 47-48 (#2-6 ~ #2-10) .
1. 1) Return all papers. Please sit on your new seat. (1P: Sheiry, Josh; 3P: Logan, Jack, Brian, Tim, Caroline) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Group discussion (pages 45-47 Problems #2-1 ~ #2-5). Go over answer key. 3) Work on homework for tonight.
2. 1) Return test papers + comments (average). 2) (3P) BeeTV announcement.


MS 5P Chinese I Class (9/14/17)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate vowels and consonants. 2) I can write/comprehend math equations in Chinese.
Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) I can prepare for my quiz #5 (phone # dictation, number conversion) tomorrow. 3) Review (‘zh’, ‘ch’) sections. 4) Lesson Three chapter test: Tuesday, 9/26/17. 5) Quiz #6 (g k h j q x): Wednesday, 9/20/17.
1. 1) Greetings. Go over retake procedures. Turn in your “Connecting the dots” worksheet. 2) Sounding out syllables. 3) Go over (‘zh’, ‘ch’) sections. 4) Teach (乘以, 除以).
2. Dictation + listening (syllables, phone #, conversion, equations) + writing practice.


MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (9/14/17)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese cocoon and fast food in China.
Homework: Quiz #1 (connecting the dots): Monday, 9/18/17.
1. 1) Return papers. (Logan P., Logan D.) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Teach (baba, mama, gege, didi, jiejie, meimei, he, liang). Writen sentence #4. 3) Read sentences #1-#4. 4) Review counting principle. Circulate quiz #1 paper for preparation.
2. Video clips: 1) Cocoon + Breakfast in China. 2) Culture reading: Fast Food in China.
