Procedures for 9/15/17

HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (9/15/17)

Objectives: I can identify connections between the growth of a pattern, its starting value, and its linear equation.
Homework: Section 2.1.2 Pages 52-53 Problems (#2-19 to #2-24).
Procedure:
1. 1) Check H/W. Collect. Resource managers get a copy of 2.1.2 paper. 2) Group discussion: 2-11 to 2-16. 3) Math Note (slope is the change in y (referred to as Δy) divided by the change in x (referred to as Δx ) between any two points on a line.). 4) Closure (2-17 & 2-18)

2. 1) Work on homework. 2) (3P) BeeTV announcement.

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (9/15/17)

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my fluency of numbers in Chinese. 2) I can choose various skill areas to review all learned materials at my own pace.
Homework: Know all 19 characters solidly (meaning, sound, recognition) by Monday, 9/18/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. Return papers. (Ann) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quiz #5.
2. 1) Oral part <=> Listen to audio files (consonants blending + Lesson Three text passages) / Read text passages (slip) / practice characters / practice sounding out loud syllables / dictation / numbers

2. 2) Game time.

 

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (9/15/17)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese early invention. 3) I can explore tangram game. 4) I can taste various tea.
Homework: Quiz #1 (Connecting the Dots): Monday, 9/18/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. 2) Teach (sheng ri, nian, yue, ri). 3) Write sentence #5. Read sentences #1-5. Collect draft #1.
2. 1) Video clips: gun powder / abacus. 3) Tangram pieces game. 4) Sample tea….
