Procedures for 9/13/17

HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (9/13/17)

Objectives: I can showcase my mastery of Chapter One materials.
Homework: Section 2.1.1 pages 45-46 problem #2-1 ~ #2-2.
1. 1) Return papers. (1P: Marco; 3P: Brian) talks to Ms. Chang, please. Resource managers take a copy of 2.1.2. resource page for your group members. Turn in your Chapter One Individual Test Review WS. 2) Chapter One individual test (no calculator, learning log is allowed).

2. 1) If you are done with test, do homework for tonight. 2) Show list of new groups. 3) (3P) BeeTV announcement.


MS 5P Chinese I Class (9/13/17)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate vowels and consonants. 2) I can read text passages fluently and accurately.
Homework: 1) Review ‘q’ and ‘x’ sections. 2) Connecting the Dots WS is due tomorrow.
1. 1) Greetings. (Vincent) talks to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review (16 characters). 3) Dictation (phone numbers, conversion, syllables) + sounding out (syllables + phone numbers). 4) Audio files. 5) Teach Chinese number gestures + read text passages.
2. 1) Teach (‘q’, ‘x’) sections. 2) Pair practice: flash cards time. 3) Return test papers + get retake form.


MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (9/13/17)

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of 20 Chinese characters. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese tea. 3) I can talk about myself in Chinese.
Homework: 1) Practice reading sentences #1-#3. 2) Review Chinese counting principle.
1. 1) Turn in your 12 number character writing assignment. Quick review (20 characters). 2) Teach (jia, you, ge ren). Write sentence #3. Read sentences #1-#3. 3) Test #2.

2. 1) Video clip: Chinese tea. 2) Showcase artifacts (tea + tea sets).
