HS 1P Algebra I Class (9/19/17)

Objectives: I can use slope triangles to compare the relative steepness of lines and to build intuition about positive, negative, and zero slopes..
Homework: Section 2.1.4 Pages 62-62 (#2-41 to #2-45)
Procedure:
1. 1) Check H/W. Collect. (1P: Sarah, Sheiry) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Core: 2-36 to 2-40. 3) Closure + 2 Math Notes.

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (9/19/17)

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my quiz tomorrow. 2) I can blend and discriminate vowels and consonants.
Homework: 1) Review (‘r’, ‘z’) sections. 2) Quiz #6 (g k h k q x + saying 2 phone numbers): tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. Take one copy of Lesson Three Chapter Test Study Guide. Audio file for Lesson Three text passages was posted to PB Resources link. Organize your binder into 5 sections. (Faith) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Please turn in your retake application form if you plan to retake Lesson One chapter test. 2) Teach (‘r’, ‘z’) sections. 3) Quiz #6 pretest.

2. 1) Read text passages. 2) Review / Teach Chinese number gestures (#6-#10). 3) Go over Lesson Three chapter test study guide. 4) Sounding out loud (quiz #6 + #7 syllables / phone numbers).

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (9/19/17)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can say colors in Chinese. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese yoyo.
Homework: 1) Review 8 learned colors. 2) Practice sounding out loud sentences #1-#6.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return quiz #1 papers. Complete quiz #1. (Logan D., Paige) get a copy of art project handout + mark down 3 due dates + a set of colors flash cards. 2) Quick review (4 colors + 4 sibling terms). 3) Teach (lan se, lv se, zi se, zong song).
2. Video clip: Chinese yoyo.
