Procedures for 10/9/17

HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (10/9/17)

Objectives: I can work with zero and negative exponents..
Homework: 1) Binder and Math Notes check: Monday, 10/23/17. 2) Exponent Practice Worksheet is due tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Sit on your new seat, please. (1P) Return homework papers. (1P: Kane) talk to Ms. Chang, please. (3P) Return Chapter Two individual test papers. Collect. Check H/W. Questions? Collect. 2) Ms. Chang has e-mailed you with details of Math Notes pages. Announcement for this Wednesday (calculator / location). 3) Quick review. 4) Quiz #9. 5) Expand Your Brain Day team challenge.
2. 1) Seat work. 2) (3P) BeeTV announcement.

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (10/9/17)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate vowels and constants. 2) I can greet people with polite expression.
Homework: 1) Review (iao, uai, iu, ui) sections. 2) Chinese character writing assignment.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. (Sam, Rachel, Vince / Ann) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Return papers. Compound vowels (2) audio file and handout were posted to PB Resources link already. Treat time (Miriam, Jacob, Joe, Jadon, Chris, Megumi, Jesse). 2) Quick review (recognizing learned characters and making sentences). 3) Teach (白, 大,伟,李,兰). 4) Teach (iao, uai, iu, ui) sections.
2. Pass out mini dialogue script.

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (10/9/17)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greetings terms. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about two major cities (Beijing, Shanghai) in China. 3) I can write simple Chinese characters.
Homework: 1) Review 18 learned terms. 2) Chinese character writing assignment.
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one copy of 20 characters handout. (Elizabeth, Ben, Cooper) turn in your China reading packet, please. (Ben) talks to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review. 3) Teach (Xie Xie, Bu Xie, Bu Ke Qi). 3) Class activity.
3. 1) Pass out / go over 20 characters and square paper handout. 2) Teach (山, 木). 3) Video clips: Beijing / Shanghai.
