Procedures for 10/26/17

HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (10/26/17)

Objectives: I can solve equations with multiplication and absolute value.
Homework: 1) Section 3.3.1 Pages 120-121 (#3-81~#3-86, skip #82). 2) Formative #12 (Write area as a product and as a sum): Monday, 10/30/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. (1P: Kane, Matt, Lily, Sam, Sheiry; 3P: Jack, Maria, Caroline) show Ms. Chang your binder and math notes, please. (1P:; 3P: Breanna, Jack, Tim, Caroline,)stay after class, please. 2) Check H/W. Questions? Collect. 2) Practice quiz #12 problems.

2. 1) In class discussion (3-76 ~ 3-77). 2) (3P) BeeTV announcement.

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (10/26/17)

Objectives: 1) I can sight read multiple syllables accurately and fluently. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.
Homework: 1) Know 8 learned Chinese characters by Monday, 10/30/17. 2) Review back and front nasal sounds handouts. 3) Review multiple syllables handout. 4) Quiz # 10 (Front/Back Nasal sounds): Tuesday, 10/31/17. Quiz # 11 (sounding out multiple syllables): Wednesday, 11/1/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. 2) Finish up multiple syllables handout. 3) Sound out loud back and front nasal sound syllables. 4) Introduce sentence patterns (text pages 26-27).
2. 1) Dictation. 2) Conversation questions practice (identify, age and year).

 

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (10/26/17)

Objectives: 1) I can review and count from zero to one hundred in Chinese. 2) I can gain culture knowledge about the development of Chinese characters. 3) I can explore tangram pieces games.
Homework: 1) Test #2 (20 characters): Tuesday, 10/31/17. 2) Quiz #1: Wednesday, 11/1/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Count from zero to one hundred. 2) Go over quiz #1. Circulate quiz #1 paper and Chinese publications. 3) Video clips: Chinese character animation (三, 山).
2. Tangram pieces game time.
