Procedures for 10/17/17

HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (10/17/17)

Objectives: I can multiply binomials and use the distributive property..
Homework: 1) Section 3.2.3 Page 114 Problems (#3-58 & #3-59). 2) Formative quiz #11: tomorrow. 3) Chapter 3 Review worksheet is due on Monday, 10/23/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return homework and quiz #10 papers from yesterday. Reward time (1P: Amir, Mia; 3P: Marko, Christian) + Sharing. (1P: Matt, Sheiry; 3P: Christina, Breanna) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Complete all retakes and turn in all makeup work by the end of 4P on Friday, 10/20/17. Complete Exponent practice worksheet to qualify for retake quiz #10. Go over and highlight the chapter quiz worksheet. 2) Check H/W. Questions? Collect. 3) Practice problems for quiz #11 tomorrow.
2. 1) In class discussion (page 112 #3-54 & #3-55). 2) (3P) BeeTV announcement.

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (10/17/17)

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of compound vowels (s). 2) I can prepare for my chapter test.
Homework: Study!
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. Take one copy of Front Nasal Sounds handout. (Sam, Jacob, Jimmy, Ann, Sofia, Vince) talk to Ms. Chang, please. (Jesse, Calvin, Sofia, John, ) complete your VC activities, please. 2) Quiz #9.
2. While Ms. Chang conducts oral quiz => 1) Take your oral part. 2) Review all VC activities. 3) Practice translation problems on board, please. 4) Practice sounding out loud.

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (10/17/17)

Objectives: 1) I can write simple Chinese number characters. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese calligraphy and Chinese schools.
Homework: 1) Unit #2 test (20 Chinese characters): Tuesday, 10/31/17. 2) Chinese character writing assignment.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return writing assignment #1. (Elizabeth, Ben / Ayden) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review (greeting terms). 3) Teach (一, 二, 三). 4) Video clips: Chinese characters.
2. 1) Showcase Four Treasures of Study. 2) Culture reading: Chinese schools.
