Procedures for 10/18/17

HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (10/18/17)

Objectives: I can multiply binomials and use the distributive property..
Homework: Section 3.2.3 Page 114 (#3 – 60 to #3 – 63) & Section 3.2.3 Math Notes.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return homework papers. At the end of the 2P, there will be a lockdown drill. (3P: Carly, Christina, Brianna, Logan) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Check H/W. Questions? Collect. 3) Quiz #11.
2. 1) Resource managers take copies of worksheet, please. In class discussion (#3-56 + WS). Collect WS at the end of the period as in-class participation/correctness grade. 2) (3P) BeeTV announcement.

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (10/18/17)

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my chapter test. 2) I can blend and discriminate vowels and consonants.
Homework: 1) Turn in your Lesson Two character worksheet tomorrow. 2) Lesson Four character definitions. 3) Review (‘an’, ‘en’, ‘in’) sections.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. Return quiz #9 papers. Take one copy of Lesson Four character worksheet. Treat time (Hudson, Joe, Megumi). (Jimmy, Jacob / Rachel, Vince, Sofia) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Schedule retake with Ms. Chang, please. 2) Kahoot game.
2. 1) Teach (an, en, in) sections. 2) Video clip: pinyin in 6 minutes.  3) Pair activity: Sound out loud multiple syllable handout.

 

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (10/18/17)

Objectives: 1) I can write simple Chinese number characters. 2) I can explore rock, scissors, and paper game. 3) I can showcase my mastery of Chinese greeting terms.
Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Review 14 learned characters.
Procedure:
1. 1) Quick review (11 characters). 2) Teach (四, 五, 六). 3) Unit #1 chapter test.
2. 1) Culture reading: Rock Scissors Paper game. 2) Game time.
