Procedures for 10/20/17

HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (10/20/17)

Objectives: I can work with my team members to review for chapter test.
Homework: 1) Chapter review worksheet is due at the end of the class period next Monday. 2) Binder check and Math Notes are due on Tuesday, 10/24/17. 3) Chapter test individual test: Tuesday, 10/24/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. (1P: Emma G., Jordan, Mia, Vlad) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Check H/W. Questions? Collect. 3) Go over test categories. 4) Go over details for Math Notes.
2. Station activity (team test).

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (10/20/17)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about age and welcome people in Chinese. 2) I can blend and discriminate vowels and consonants. 3) I can sight read multiple syllables fluently and accurately. 4) I can ask and answer simple questions in Chinese.
Homework: 1) Review (‘un’, ‘uan’, ‘ian’) sections. 2) Chinese character writing assignment.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. Take one copy of back nasal sounds handout. Captains check Lesson Four character definitions. 2) Go over textbook structure. Reward time (Jacob, Hallie). (Vince, Jacob, Jimmy, Jesse, Joey / Sam, Neela, Becky, Megumi, Chris, Miriam) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 3) Sound out loud multiple syllables.
2. 1) Teach (‘un’, ‘uan’, ‘ian’) sections. 2) Teach (谁, 岁,几). 3) Q/A.

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (10/4/17)

Objectives: 1) I can comprehend, say and write Chinese number . 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese lucky and unlucky numbers. 3) I can explore folk art of origami.
Homework: 1) Review 20 Chinese characters. 2) Chinese character writing assignment.
Procedure:
1. 1) Quick review (17 characters). 2) Teach (十, 百, 零).
3. Origami.
