HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (10/23/17)

Objectives: I can complete my review activity in preparation for my individual assessment.
Homework: 1) Turn in your Chapter test review worksheet at the end of the class period. 2) Formative #12 (Write area as a sum and a product): Monday, 10/30/17. 3) Chapter 3 team test (part 2): 11/6/2017. 4) Chapter 3 individual test (part 2): 11/10/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. Reward time (3P: Marko, Grace B., Christian, Maria). (3P: Brian, Christian, Maria / Bella, Emma, Christina) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Clarify #3-71.
2. Seat work time (review worksheet).

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (10/23/17)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate vowels and consonants. 2) I can sight read multiple syllables fluently and accurately. 3) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.
Homework: 1) Review (‘ang’ , ‘eng’, ‘ing’) sections. 2) Practice conversation questions. 3) Practice sounding out loud multiple syllables.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. (Sofia, Vince, Calvin, Ian, Joe) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Take one copy of Lessons Two/Four conversation questions handout.
2. 1) Teach (‘ang’ , ‘eng’, ‘ing’) sections. 2) Go over multiple syllables handout. 3) Go over conversation questions handout + pair work.

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (10/23/17)

Objectives: 1) I can recognize simple Chinese characters. 2) I can count from zero to one hundred accurately. 3) I can explore origami.
Homework: 1) Test #2: Tuesday, 10/31/17. 2) Quiz #1: Wednesday, 11/1/17. 3) Review 20 learned terms.
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one copy of Chinese counting principle. Return writing assignment. (Elizabeth, Grace, Ayden) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review. 3) Go over handout. Count from zero to one hundred.
2. Origami.
