Procedures for 11/14/17

HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (11/14/17)

Objectives: I can use substitution to solve systems of equations.
Homework: Section 4.2.1 Pages 156-157 (#4-36 to #4-41) & 4.2.1 Math Notes — Describing Association.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. Treat time. (1P: Amir, Sheiry; 3P: Jordan) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Check H/W. Questions? Collect. 3) Go over Equal Value and Substitution methods. 4) Go over common mistakes in chapter test and in-class discussion. 5) Go over test result data analysis.
2. 1) In class discussion (#4-22~#4-24, 4.2.1 Notes #4-31 through #4-34, 4-35 for closure). 2) (3P) BeeTV announcement.

 

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (11/14/17)

Objectives: I can showcase my mastery of Lesson Four
Homework: 1) Lesson Four oral exam: tomorrow. 2) Lesson Five character definitions is due tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. Take one set of Lesson Five character worksheets. Check your e-mail for lunch menu selection. Any permission slip? Any lunch decision (fill in the table, please)? Turn in your Lesson Four character worksheet. 2) Read 24 pinyin sentences.
2. 1) Lesson Four chapter test. 2) Work on Lesson Five character definitions + Practice Lesson Four oral exam + Practice on pinyin sentences.

 

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (11/14/17)

Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s grading policy. 2) I can complete a student survey. 3) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.
Homework: 1) Review 1 learned greeting term. 2) Test #1: Friday, 12/1/2017.
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one greetings handout. Any signature slip? Go over fire drill procedure. 2) Go over Ms. Chang’s grading policy.
2. 1) Complete Student Survey. Collect. 2) Go over Introduction to Hanyu Pinyin / teach Chinese greetings terms (Ni Hao).
