HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (11/15/17)

Objectives: I can explain how a solution to a system of equations relates to those equations and to a graph of those equations.
Homework: 1) Section 4.2.2 Pages 162-163 (#4-49 to #4-54) & 4.2.2 Math Notes — The Substitution Method. 2) Formative #15: Scatter Plot and the line of best fit: Tuesday, 11/21.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. Collect your cell phone. 2) Check H/W. Questions? Collect.
2. 1) In class discussion (4.2.2 #4-42). 2) Seat work. 3) (3P) BeeTV announcement.

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (11/15/17)

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 2) I can sight read pinyin sentences fluently and accurately.
Homework: Sight reading Review Sounds1: Friday, 11/17/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. Any permission slip? Any lunch decision? Captains check Lesson Five character definitions. Complete your oral exam during E/I.
2. Lesson Four oral exam <=> 1) Practice your oral exam. 2) Practice sight reading pinyin sentences.

 

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (11/15/17)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greetings terms. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese publications, Chinese breakfast and Chinese noodles.
Homework: Review 5 learned terms.
Procedure:
1. 1) Any signature slip? 2) Video clips: Chinese breakfast + Chinese noodles.
2. 1) Review (Ni Hao). 2) Teach (Ni Shi, Wo ShiLao Shi, Zai Jian). 3) Pair activity. 4) Showcase Chinese publications. 5) Preview Chinese paper cut pattern (longevity).
