HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (11/29/17)

Objectives: I can review material from Chapter 4.
Homework: 1) Chapter Four CL #4-116 to CL #4-125. 2) Chapter 4 team test: tomorrow, 11/30/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. Collect your cell phone. Interesting homework issue!! (1P: Marco, Emma W.; 3P: Lidia, Carly, Elise, Maria) talk to Ms. Chang, please. (HR) Go over lockdown drill procedure / safety protocol. Check ProgressBook for current standing. Talk to individual students for academic issues. 2) Check H/W. Questions? Collect.
2. 1) In class discussion (#4-116 ~#4-125). 2) (3P) BeeTV announcement.

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (11/29/17)

Objectives: 1) I can sight read pinyin sentences fluently and accurately. 2) I can express myself with question and negative statements.
Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Know 13 characters by Friday, 12/1/17. 3) Lesson Five vocabulary quiz: Friday, 12/8/2017.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. (Vince, Ian, Jesse) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Quick review (#1-#20 + characters). 3) Writing practice.
2. 1) Teach sentences #21-#23. 2) Teach (吗, 不, 剪刀, 刀子). 3) Go over Conversation question pattern #2. 4) Pair practice + Q/A.

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (11/29/17)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greetings terms. 2) I can write simple Chinese characters. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese characters.
Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Review 26 greetings terms.
Procedure:
1. 1) Quick review (26 terms + 4 characters). 2) Teach (火, 人).
2. 1) Video clips: Chinese character animation. 2) Culture reading: Chinese famous dishes.
