HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (12/6/17)

Objectives: I can review material from Chapter 4..
Homework: 1) Review for your individual test tomorrow. 2) Complete all retakes and turn in all makeup by Friday, 12/15/17.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. Collect your cell phone. (1P: Mia, Marco, Kane, Sarah; 3P: ) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Answer key to Chapter 4 review worksheet has been posted under resource link in Ms. Chang’s daily blog. 2) Check H/W. Questions? Collect. 3) Questions on your Chapter 4 Review Worksheet / team test?
2. 1) In class discussion (speed dating review). 2) (3P) BeeTV announcement.

 

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (12/6/17)

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 2) I can create a skit independently or in pairs. 3) I can polish my listening comprehension through viewing video clips.
Homework: 1) Lesson Five vocabulary quiz / skit + checklist: Friday, 12/8/17. 2) Grammar Corrections worksheet is due tomorrow. 3) Complete all makeup work and retakes by Friday, 12/15/17. 4) Mid term: Thursday, 1/11/18 and Friday, 1/12/18.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. Get a copy of Lesson Five Grammar Correction worksheet. Ms. Chang already shared Lesson Five chapter test study guide with you. Will go over it tomorrow. 2) Sample problems for quiz on Friday.
2. 1) Video clips (Fluent). 2) Pair/independent work: Conversation questions practice / Finalize your skit / Grammar Corrections worksheet / practice with Ms. Chang.

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (12/6/17)

Objectives: 1) I can understand Chinese counting principle. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese embroidery. 3) I can play rock, scissors and paper in Chinese.
Homework: 1) Test #2: Friday, 12/8/17. 2) Quiz #1 (connecting the dots): Thursday, 12/14/17..
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one copy of Chinese number table. Return character writing worksheet. 2) Quick review (20 characters). 3) Go over Chinese counting principle + Counting.
2. 1) Video clips: number rapping / Chinese embroidery. 2) Cultural reading: Rock, Scissors and Paper game. 3) Showcase artifacts (embroidery). 4) Game time: Rock, Scissors and Paper. 5) Pass out colored paper + Origami time.
