Procedures for 1/24/18

HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (1/24/18)

Objectives: I can graphically determine an upper and lower bound on the prediction that make from a linear best-fit model..
Homework: 1) Section 6.1.3 Pages 257-258 (#6 – 24 ~ #6 – 29). 2) Formative #21 (Geometric Sequences – recursive and explicit equation given a sequence): Friday, 1/26/18.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. Collect your cell pone. (3P: Lidia / some students) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Go over common H/W mistakes. 3) Check H/W. Questions? Collect. 4) Formative #20.
2. 1) In class discussion (#6-22 ~ #6-23). 2) (3P) BeeTV announcement.

 

MS 5P Chinese I Class (1/24/18)

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 2) I can prepare for my chapter test.
Homework: 1) Practice for your oral, if not done yet. 2) Read text pages 43-48 + 52-53. 3) Read 2 culture reading articles specified in the study guide.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. (Ian, Zach, Miriel) report to Ms. Chang at E/I today. (Miriam, Joey, Rebecca, Jesse, Isabel, Halle, Hallie, Sofia, Neela) take oral exam in class tomorrow. (Sam, Jimmy, Vince, Calvin, Jadon) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Remember you have retake opportunities for oral!! 2) Oral exam (Jacob, Megumi, Jadon, John, Chris, Rachel, Hudson). Modeling?

2. Go over Lesson Six grammar corrections worksheet.

 

MS 7P Exploratory Chinese (1/24/18)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greetings terms. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese food (breakfast and noodles).
Homework: Review 5 learned terms.
Procedure:
1. 1) Any signature slip? (Olivia, Sarah, Jossolyn, Isabella) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review.

2. 1) Teach (Wo Shi, Lao Shi, Zai Jian). 2) Video clips: Chinese breakfast + Chinese noodles. 3) Showcase / browse through Chinese cook books.
