Objectives: I can find the dimensions of a generic rectangle.
Homework: Section 8.1.1 Pages 370-371 (#8-6 ~ #8-12).
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. Collect your cell phone. (1P: ; 3P: Elise) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Double 3P today. 9th and 10th graders attend the first assembly. Correction on Chapter 7 Review Worksheet. 2) Collect Chapter 7 Closure answer document.

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions about nationality. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese customs and traditions through viewing an authentic Chinese movie. 3) I can have fun singing a Chinese song and exploring Chinese traditional art of paper-cutting.
Homework: 1) Know all 10 learned characters for writing practice tomorrow. 2) Start to finalize your movie unit comprehension questions document.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. Check your mitten / goggle. Take one copy of dog paper-cutting pattern. 2) Quick review (characters). 3) Song time (terms for family members). 4) Video time (Mickey and Happy Chinese New Year). 5) Cutting paper patterns.
