HS 1P/3P Algebra I Class (2/13/18)

Objectives: I can use what I know about linear and exponential functions to investigate the relationship between simple and compound interest.
Homework: Section 7.1.3 Pages 323-325 (#7-35 ~ #7-41).
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. Collect your cell phone. (1P: Miranda / Marco / Kane / Sheri / Brandon / Bella; 3P: Elise, Lidia, / Kevin) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Check H/W. Questions? Collect. 3) Go over definitions of 3 terms & an example (principal, simple interest, compound interest / concept of maturity)

MS 5P Chinese I Class (2/13/18)

Objectives: 1) I can gain culture knowledge about legend of Chinese New Year. 2) I can sing a Happy Chinese New Year song. 3) I can practice writing for my chapter test.
Homework: 1) Pet slide(s) is due tomorrow. 2) Grammar corrections worksheet is due tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Greetings. Take one copy of song lyrics & Chinese New Year story. (Zach, Sam) take your makeup vocabulary quiz, please. Make sure you have at least 1 red envelope for you to put into 2 pieces of candy. Pass out candy. Collect your red envelope. 2) Song time + video clips time + Chinese zodiac video. Go over the lyrics. 3) Writing problem practice. 4) Go over 1 special conversation question.

Turn in your schedule to main office. Talk to Ms. Chang if you have questions on your retake. Turn in fixed work to qualify for retake.

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my chapter 6 team test.  2) I can utilize a TI-84 to calculate residuals and residual plot.
Homework: Chapter 6 closure problems.

Procedures:
1. 1) Collect your cell phone. 2) Collect H/W.
2. 1) Seat work: chapter 6 closure problems.  If they are done in class, these problems become your homework.  2) Check with Ben to make sure you can use your TI-84 to calculate residuals and graph a scatter plot.  3) Fix your formative #20-#22 and submit it/them as evidence(s) for retake.   (3P) BeeTV announcement.
