Grade 6 Art at the Cuyahoga County Public Library
Stop by the Brecksville Branch to view paintings and drawings of 6th graders in Ms. Henderson’s, Mrs. King’s, and Ms. Zielski’s art classes. Thank you to librarian Diane Wilson for hanging up this display. The art work is hanging up above the book cases in the young adult section.
Art work from all three grade levels and all three art teachers is on display in our school in the showcases, library, and on bulletin boards. Also, click on my gallery link and you can view art projects from my students and pictures of them working in class.

6th Grade Art Club
Art Club will meet the first Monday of every month from 3:00 to 4:30 in room 226. The club will do extra art projects such as ceramics, watercolor, printmaking, drawing, and crafts. We will also have a couple parties during the year.
We will make holiday ornaments at the November meeting and glaze them at the December meeting. I will hand back the ornaments in homeroom after they are fired. Hope to see you there. It is not too late to sign up.

Welcome To My Art Class
Welcome to my art class. I will be teaching 6th grade and 8th grade art this year. I am looking forward to a great school year. I will also be leading 6th grade Art Club which will start Monday Oct. 6th.

Academic Recognition Night
Thank you to all the students who let the art teachers save their work all year to put up a large display for Academic Recognition Night on Tuesday June 3. Your talents and accomplishments during the year stood out. Thank you to Mr. Farrell, the PSO, and staff for all your help and support with this large display of student work. Several teachers even showed up at 6:45 the next morning to roll and deliver art projects to the homeroom teachers for handing back.
