student resource book
Students have a student resource book known as the SRB. This book has information on topics covered and presents it in the manner that was used during initial instruction. This is extremely important to refer to if students are having difficulty with concepts.
math boxes
Math boxes are done in school and provide practice on concepts presently being taught, as well as concepts previously taught. If you see your child struggling on these pages, it would be helpful to review with your child.
math facts
Students are to know their basic facts for a addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. We quickly move through topics and it is critical for hte students to think about the process of what to do and not to spend time trying to recall facts. Please spend time working on rapid recall of facts through flash cards, verbally reviewing facts, or through timed tests. If you need any timed tests, please let Mrs. Hallis know. This will help your child to be successful in math.
math homework
Math homework is assigned nightly.
