Paper Chain Challenge!

In our first week back in the makerspace after Winter Break, we completed a challenge where students had to work in teams of 2-5 students.  Groups were picked by Miss Kolis and Mrs. Wiesler and students were given 2 pairs of scissors, 2 glue sticks, and 1 piece of construction paper.  Students were asked to make the longest paper chain they could out of one piece of paper.  After 20 minutes, students had to drop their materials and be ready to get measured.

In our second grade club, the longest chain was 116 inches long!

In our third grade club, the longest chain was 198 inches long!

Awesome team work!
