Mrs. Lant’s Class Story
Based on the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears

One day in the deep blue sea, the three dolphins were eating their seaweed and watercress salad. The salad was too bitter, and they needed to get and get some vinegar and sea salt. While they were gone, a beautiful mermaid name Marisa swam by.
She went inside the coral house, because she was looking for her lost sea shell. She saw the salad, and she tried the first one and it was too bitter. The next one was too sour, and the little one was just right. So, she ate it all up.
She saw some football helmets that looked colorful. She tried Papa Dolphin’s helmet on and it was too big. She tried Mama Dolphin helmet on, and it was too soft and tight. But she found Baby Dolphin’s helmet, and it was perfect!
Next, she found some beds made of rocks, coral and covered in sea anemone. She tried the big bed, but it was too lumpy and rough. Then, she tried Mama Dolphin’s bed but it was too itchy and soft. She tried Baby Dolphin’s bed, and it was awesome! So, she fell asleep.
The Dolphin family came home with vinegar and sea salt. They saw the salad had been tasted. Then, Baby Dolphins said, “Someone ate all of my salad. And it was really good seaweed salad!” They saw that their football helmets were tried on, and Baby Dolphin’s helmet was missing. Dun, dun, dun………….
Then, Marisa the Mermaid woke up and saw the dolphins, and the dolphins got excited. They accidentally slapped her across the face with their tails. They were so excited that they spilled sea salt and vinegar all over her! She screamed and swam away!
Then the Dolphins watch the Miami Dolphin’s game!
