Course Description
In American Government, students will study the political and constitutional development as well as the organization and function of the national, state and local governments. 

The successful completion of 1/2 credit in American Government (academic, honors, or AP) is required of all students for graduation. 

Required Textbook:
Magruder's American Government,
2006 edition.
Supplemental Reading for Honors Government provided as needed.
