Web Site Evaluation Criteria for evaluating sources found on the web
When searching the Internet, it is helpful to put your search terms in “quotation marks.” For example when searching for sports in the 1980s, type “sports in the 1980s” in the search box. Be sure your web site is credible! See the CARRDSS handout! Remember that Wikipedia is not considered a scholarly source and it is not always a reliable source of information!
Cite your sources!
Use Noodletools to cite your sources:
http://www.noodletools.com register a username and password for yourself. Use the group username and school password to join. See the handout sheet with the passwords. You will create a new project and use MLA starter style. If you had an account at the middle school, it is best to reregister with the high school account so you will have all of your high school materials archived until you graduate.
Be sure to ask me for help! I am available before and after school and also during your study hall!
