People can be empowered to make good decisions about their work... but they need to be willing to take the responsibility for making the decisions upon themselves... and then they need to know what the bad decisions are and be willing to accept it when i tell them the decision they are making is a bad one. Leadership, responsibility and humility. Can't be that hard can it? mmm… rolling out drupal to our whole campus is bringing this into focus.
