Computer Monitor Display

A few weeks ago I wrote a post about enlarging and shrinking text within the internet. Well, how do you customize the whole display on your machine too? Again, a very simple task once you have done it once or twice. For a print out of directions, click here.

For example, the computer lab monitors are set at 800 by 600 pixels which is very big. You can only view small amounts of content before you have to use you mouse to scroll down or side to side. The lab is set this way for the kids, but for older kids and adults this is too big because it becomes very hard to navigate and view what is on the computer.  I suggest 1024 by 768 pixels. This allows you to see content on your computer in an effective manner without having to scroll down and side to side. Good luck and as always, thank you for reading. Creating borders in a word document

I have had many teachers ask me if there was a way to spice up a typed letter or worksheet in a Microsoft word document. Well, there is and it is very easy to do. You can add colorful borders to any word document with ease. Of course, I have step by step directions (created by Nancy C. kindergarten teacher) for you to print out. Click here for directions. Give this simple technique a try, it may save you some money instead of going to the store and buying pre-made paper. As usual, I hoped you found this post to be useful and please comment below with further inquiries and suggestions.
